Emme grew up in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California. In high school, she mentored students in math and English and developed a passion for helping learners foster their unique abilities to overcome challenges. She soon realized she wanted to pursue a career that could incorporate her love for language and helping others.
Emme went to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) to pursue a degree in Linguistics with a specialization in speech and language sciences. During her college career, she worked for a program at UCSD that helps international students with their English fluency and pronunciation. She also did research in a psychology lab focusing on language development, which allowed her to explore her interest in child language acquisition.
Emme is beyond excited to work at Therapies for Success and help guide young learners toward reaching their full potential. She believes all students have the building blocks for being successful and wants to give them the necessary tools by utilizing effective methodologies.
In her free time, Emme loves to play the electric guitar, read books at the beach, shop at flea markets, and listen to her favorite albums on her record player.
