Katiana O'Dowd is a southern California native, who grew up in Santa Barbara before moving to San Diego to study cognitive and behavioral neuroscience at UCSD. After four wonderful years in San Diego, she made a big move to Dallas, TX to pursue her dream career as a speech-language pathologist. Katiana couldn't stay away from California for long though and joined the Jodie K. Schuller team shortly after returning to San Diego.

Katiana serves as a full-time Speech-Language therapist who treats clients from young toddlers to adults (and every age in between!). She has a passion for helping others confidently and successfully communicate, which makes therapy sessions never truly feel like "work". Katiana understands that the ability to communicate is essential to an individual's well-being and sense of belonging, and therefore, strives to provide her clients with the tools and confidence they need to be successful at home, in the classroom, and in the community.

When not at work, Katiana enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen and tending to her many houseplants. She also loves spending time in the sun, whether it be walking in Balboa Park or reading a good book at the beach.
