Reading has been Victoria’s most enduring passion for as long as she can remember. Her love of language and written expression led her to major in English at Pitzer College. After gaining her BA in English literature, Victoria headed to New York City to work in the publishing industry as an editorial assistant. Her love of language eventually propelled her to pursue a PHd in literature at Washington University in St. Louis. After gaining her MA in English and American literature, Victoria paused her studies because she realized that she really wanted to help younger kids develop an interest in reading and writing.
While she was teaching English and Social Studies to middle schoolers in the New York City public school system, Victoria gained her MA in English Education from Teacher’s College, Columbia University.
Victoria was fortunate to be able to take time off to help raise her three children. Her two boys are now in college, and her daughter is currently a high school senior. She is now thrilled to be helping children reach their potential at Jodie K. Schuller and Associates. She is passionate about helping each child maximize his or her confidence and innate skillset.
In her free time, Victoria enjoys cooking, playing word games on the New York Times website, trying to stay fit, volunteering in the community with her daughter, and walking her dog on the beach as often as possible.
